Tonight's (or tomorrow night's) HW:

Watch the following Khan Academy video and take notes.  Then try to re-do the problem yourself.

http://www.khanacademy.org/video/calculus--graphing-using-derivatives?topic=calculus

I know I didn't mention much about how to literally get the second derivative, but all you do is take the derivative of the derivative.  For example,

original function                                first derivative

second derivative

If you missed class today...or will miss it tomorrow...

Stressed about exams? Try Meditation!

In an effort to help reduce stress during exam time, I am going to offer meditation before the exams each day!  One of the teachers has a 30 minute meditation CD that I can use.  We would start at 6:50am.  I am also looking in to finding a shorter CD so that I can do one between exams as well since that time is only 30 min.

If you have any questions about it, you can come see me next week!
